A wedding suit is one of the few garments a man commissions knowing it will be photographed, remembered and looked back on for decades. It has to fit the man and the day.

This commission was for a groom who knew what he wanted and wanted it made properly. The brief was a suit cut to his own figure, with every detail decided together rather than chosen from a rail.

The Day Itself

Some days are hard to put into words. Elliott didn’t try to overcomplicate it.

“Amazing! Felt amazing in my wedding suit.”

The First Fitting

The point of a bespoke commission is that the pattern is drafted for one person alone. Elliott noticed it the first time he put the suit on.

“Fitted perfectly, I had it custom made so it hugged my figure which looked great.”

The Process

Asked which part of the commission stood out most, Elliott found it hard to choose one.

“All of it! Richard was amazing! Anything I asked for he would do, the part when choosing the fine details he was very helpful and at the end he put together an amazing suit exactly how I wanted it.”

The fine details are where a wedding suit becomes personal. Lapels, linings, buttons and pockets are small decisions on their own. Together they decide whether a suit feels like yours.

In His Words

For anyone considering RN Tailoring for the first time, Elliott kept his recommendation simple.

“Amazing service! Can’t beat the attention to detail RN Tailoring put into making their suits.”
